Vice President – Wally Hawthorne
Wally is past owner of his own construction firm for 22 years. Previously he was statewide Vice-President for Norelco International and manager to the Paint and Hardware Divisions for Pinellas Lumber.
Wally is currently on The Board Of Adjustments of Redington Beach, Florida.
Wally is Director of Operations for Santa’s Angels and is lovingly called “the head shlepper”.
Treasurer – Mark Deighton
Mark currently serves on the Redington Beach Board of Commissioners, on the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority Board of Directors, and on the Wagner Society of Florida Board of Directors.
Accomplished in the community, Mark successfuly served as Mayor of Redington Beach, Vice Chairman of the Redington Beach Planning Board, member of the Redington Beach Finance Committee and President of the Redington Beach Property Owner’s Association.
With a B.A. from University of Wisconsin; MBA Columbia Graduate School of Business. Mark ran his own business in Florida for 10 years. Prior to that he worked in advertising, sales promotion, and graphics in New York.
Secretary – Eike Deighton
Eike is a Residential Realtor of 22+ years with national & international clientele. Prior work experience include Administration in Corporate Banking and multiple International Corporations. Education – Bachelor of Business Administration/International Marketing from Bernard Baruch College, N.Y. Member of International Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma, Pinellas Realtor Organization, National Association of Realtors, Richard Wagner Society of Florida and Sponsors of Rosarium Uetersen/Germany.
Director – Lynne Hawthorne
In 1987, Lynne and her husband Wally adopted a family in need of help. This one act of kindness has grown into Santa’s Angels, an organization that has served thousands of children. In addition to Lynne’s passion to help needy children through Santa’s Angels, Lynne is the owner of a successful interior design firm which specializes in both residential and commercial clients.
Board Member – Barry Scarr
Barry Scarr is the Pres/CEO of Scarr Insurance Group, a full service independent property & casualty insurance agency since 1984, with offices in Seminole, Ft Lauderdale, Sarasota and Inverness. Barry is the current President of the Suncoast Chapter of Community Associations Institute and a Community Insurance & Risk Management Specialist.
Teacher – Current DBPR approved instructor for 5 Community Association Manager (CAM) CE courses taught throughout the state.
Author – “How to Buy, Use and Understand Condominium Insurance”, Suncoast Publishing and co-host and producer of The Condo Connection, a public access television program.
Board Member – Eve O’ Donnell
Eve is currently the Special Events Manager at Ruth Eckerd Hall. She also worked as an Event Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Times for 6 years. Eve is very active in local theater and does several live stage shows every year. You may have also seen her as a Disney Character/Performer. She also is an Officiant and part-time Wedding Planner.
